Make sure to check the iVista Project page. This guide is being updated

If you need to download a file which is not hosted at WindowsEdge.com and you can't access it, please make a post with the package details and we will host the file for you so you'll be able to download it.

Have you tried to get your Windows Vista to look like this?:

(IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/11b2b46221ce08e6cfb14e6c5e66352c.png) (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/fd16656a6669105eab09d473afdbf262.png) (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/796882e88fa571059080729998a27e28.png)

(IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/5e917f5d498f26f438fc682ce65f7506.png) (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/5444f58128cf25ca265dae00dd0116d7.png) (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/imageuploads/pics/783d6ecac5ecfbd6b8ad368909ac3cc2.png)

Here is a full Guide provided by Windows Edge Team that may help you to get a very similar result

1- To get the icons, get iVista Iconpack for IconPackager.
Note: You need Stardock IconPackager to use this iconset.

2- RK Launcher 0.41 Leopard Inspired_Vista (Latest updated)

3- Blue Leopard Inspired Wallpaper: Download from here

4- WindowBlinds: Leopard Glass Final Release by neodesktop: Get it from here

Other skin options: Mac OSX Tiger, Mac OSX Leopard, OSX Leopard

Extra fonts for OSX Leopard skin: Attached File  Fonts.zip ( 167.01K ) Number of downloads: 754

5- Jedi Concentrate: Makes the background so much comfortable for your eyes!! (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . Extract files, run the AnAppADay.JediConcentrate.WinApp.exe and press F12 :woot:
Download: Attached File  Jedi_Concentrate.zip ( 9.54K ) Number of downloads: 673

6- Object Bar skin by vsdigital: Download from here
Note: You need Object Bar 1.6 to use this skin

Firefox skin: (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/forums/style_images/vista/download.png) Download: VFoxFINDER2 Version: 2.1.4
If you are looking to enable the extra tool buttons, you may need the following extensions

1. Stylish
2. Turn scrollbar to Aqua Style
3. Tab Close button at the right
4. Finderbar at left

That's about it. Enjoy!

Hope this help (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Have you checked in your Control Panel/ Program and Features? Is there any option to uninstall SP1?

Also you can use a Backup previous to SP1 installation (You were supposed to make a Full PC Backup before installing SP1 Beta)

Else: You may want to risk your installation and run the installer and see what happens.

Otherwise do not use the iVista installer and go for Iconpackager (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Hi BlackLabel, welcome aboard.

That top bar (finder bar) is not a WindowBlinds thing. That's Object Bar with Object bar skin by vsdigital. You need Object Bar 1.6 to use vsdigital's skin (IMG:http://windowsedge.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You need to provide more information and details...

Are you talking about The dll replacement Installer or the Iconpackager set?

Yoni, on other forum, vectorcell and others had requests to upload the iVista package somewhere else (not RapidShare). May I send it for those that want that package?

Thanks Yoni, so cool the dll changer package. System works faster, even the KKMenu under RKLauncher. One small observation though for my system Dell Inspiron 6400, CPU T7200, 1 Gb RAM, 120 Gb HDD, Sigmatel 9200, DVD-RW, 3in1 card reader, Intel Wireless 3945 a/b/g. I had an experience with the audio card after installing the package iVista_Reflective_icons, the sound card stoped working. I had to uninstall it and then reinstall automatically from Vista, and now works fine.
Many THANKS for all the changes, lot of work was implied (unfortunately you had to do it twice after your system crash).
By adding the UberIcon application the system almost cloned the animated interface of MacOSX.
Thanks for letting me upload the packages on other site for those unable to download from rapidshare.

We will take a look at it. Another reported issue about Windows Media Player was related to MS' Windows Updates... See it here

Here are links for those who can not download from rapidshare. It took about two days to test the speed and many sites for uploading files give back corrupted files. I tested myself to download back and I used different systems to do it and they work OK (just have a bit of patience about 30 seconds to appear the link on right bottom of the web site).

RKLauncher and Extra Tools (about 50 Mb)
http://www.2shared.com/file/2375520/8be0d0..._and_Extra.html

iVista_Reflective_icons (two RAR volumes, each for about 50 Mb)
http://www.2shared.com/file/2379158/87a5d9...o-OSXpart1.html
http://www.2shared.com/file/2379184/3bbdeb...o-OSXpart2.html

Enjoy the new experience of customizing the Vista interface (all credits to Yoni and the team). THANKS.

Here is the file in question: Download it

Instructions:

Go to C:\Windows\System32\browseui.dll

take ownership of it and rename it to browseui.dll.original

Copy the new browseui.dll into the system32 folder

Open task Manager/ Processes tab/ Right Click explorer.exe / Select end Process Tree.

Now go to Applications tab/New task/ type explorer.exe and hit Enter

Open My Computer or Windows Explorer and Enjoy the new buttons

Thanks for your quick response, Yoni. I've tried and tried that method, but I still get the default Vista bittons. I've even turned off UAC and tried it... no change. Do you need to use a particular Leopard skin for the buttons to change? I am using Leopard Glass 3 with WB 6. Thanks again.
